As a Sales engineer, you will partner with enterprise customers to design and deliver solutions that accelerate CI/CD pipelines and developer productivity. This is a customer-facing, pre-sales role combining deep technical expertise (backend systems, CI/CD, DevOps) with strong business and communication skills. You will lead technical discovery, run POCs, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle and early onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical engagement from discovery through POC and rollout
  • Analyze customer CI/CD and build environments to identify bottlenecks
  • Design scalable solutions leveraging Incredibuild across backend and DevOps ecosystems
  • Build ROI-driven value propositions using performance metrics
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive successful deployments
  • Create reusable assets (POCs, best practices, demos)
  • Support early-stage onboarding and expansion
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solution Engineer /Application Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer /Sales Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong focus on backend products architectures including APIs, distributed systems, and server-side technologies 
  • Proven experience with build systems (e.g., CMake, MSBuild, Gradle, Bazel) - Must
  • Strong experience with Linux/Windows environments and backend infrastructure
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Availability to work Monday–Friday, aligned with US time zones - Must 
  • Proven ability to work with enterprise DevOps environments
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders

 Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes / containerized CI environments
  • Familiarity with compiler toolchains and caching strategies
  • Background in DevTools / developer productivity / CI/CD acceleration
  • Experience in performance analysis and pipeline optimization

Skills Required

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role
  • Strong focus on backend products architectures including APIs and distributed systems
  • Proven experience in pre-sales / solution architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems
  • Deep understanding of build systems
  • Strong experience with Linux/Windows environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
