Responsibilities  


  • Lead all aspects of the used vehicle department to maximize sales, gross profit, and inventory turn.
  • Source quality pre-owned inventory through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchases.
  • Oversee vehicle appraisals, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maintain a competitive and profitable selection.
  • Manage the reconditioning process to ensure vehicles are frontline-ready in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitor inventory aging and implement strategies to improve inventory turn and profitability.
  • Support the sales team by desking deals, assisting with negotiations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Train, coach, and motivate the used vehicle sales team to achieve sales and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Service, and Sales departments to drive operational efficiency and dealership success.
  • Ensure all used inventory is accurately merchandised, photographed, and marketed across all platforms.

Qualifications


  • 2+ years of automotive sales experience.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Ability to analyze reports and make data-driven business decisions.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM, and inventory management software preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
