On-site work required at the Harrisburg, PA office with possible telework.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Learn and apply Agency guidelines to identify required documentation within mortgage loan packages.
  • Assist with the initial review of Pre-Closing submission packages submitted by participating lenders to
  • ensure all required documents have been submitted.
  • Identify and name all documents in the Pre-Closing submission package for the appropriate containers in VirPack.
  • Communicate professionally with lending partners regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Review missing documents when submitted by lender.
  • Maintain accurate electronic loan records by tracking receipt of required documentation and updating file statuses within internal Agency systems.
  • Provide professional support by responding to routine questions from participating lenders and other business partners related to the Pre-Review process.
  • Support division projects, tasks and administrative assignments as needed.
  • Employee is required to work at the Harrisburg, PA office during scheduled business hours.
  • Employee may be required to telework or be required to work a combination of teleworking and working at the physical location of the Harrisburg, PA office.

Job Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in business, finance, real estate or related field.  Strong interest in mortgage operations, housing finance or business administration.

Knowledge/ Skills

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and exercise initiative and sound judgment in handling work assignments.
  • Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and data entry. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently. Effective customer service skills.
