Do you love working with children and leading a team? The Kenosha YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic School Age Site Director to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive before and after school.
As a School Age Site Director, you'll lead daily program operations, mentor staff, build strong relationships with families, and ensure high-quality programming that meets YMCA standards and Wisconsin licensing requirements. What You'll Do- Lead the daily operation of a licensed school-age program serving children ages 5–12.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels supported.
- Supervise, coach, schedule, and develop site staff to ensure a high-quality program.
- Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and healthy development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and the community.
- Manage program administration, including attendance, documentation, incident reports, and emergency procedures.
- Support program enrollment, family engagement, staff meetings, and ongoing training.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years
- Participate in YMCA trainings
- First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate current (obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Complete 15 hours of continuing education in a year
- Must maintain state requirements for Center Director for 50 or fewer children
- Provide current Wisconsin certificate from The Registry with level 7 or higher

The Kenosha YMCA has zero tolerance for abuse of youth in its programs by employees or volunteers and will follow child abuse prevention policies, comply with mandated reporting requirements, and cooperate with law enforcement.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, administrative responsibilities, and program operations
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a safe environment
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills

Kenosha YMCA is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
