The Tyvek® business is looking for a Personal protection equipment (PPE) Technical Sales Engineer, based in Mexico City. The Technical Sales Engineer will provide expert technical support for DuPont’s Personal Protection Tyvek® business in Latin America, with a primary focus on Mexico. This role is critical in delivering technical solutions to customers and customer-facing teams, supporting product certifications, and enhancing the value proposition of our products through data generation and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support:
- Provide technical assistance to customers and internal customer-facing functions.
- Act as a trusted advisor for product performance, application, and compliance.
- Technical Data & Testing:
- Generate and analyze technical data to strengthen product value propositions.
- Support internal and external testing processes for certification steps.
- Training & Education:
- Deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.
- Develop training materials and ensure knowledge transfer across stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain strong communication channels with regional and global teams.
- Travel:
- Regional travel required 50% to support customers and certification activities.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge in personal protective equipment and related standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in technical support or product certification preferred.
- Language:
- Proficiency in Spanish and English required.
