We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBuilder Developer & IT Analyst to join our team. This role requires expertise in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and advanced SQL query writing to support Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in data management, software development, unit testing, documentation, production support, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document data flows and processes.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
- Execute data migration and data cleansing processes to ensure data integrity.
- Perform data profiling, mapping, validation, and manipulation for business insights.
- Utilize source control technologies (TFS/Azure DevOps, Git) to manage code changes.
- Conduct unit testing and document results to validate software modifications.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, system specs, and flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with business analysts and clients to support testing and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and analyze issues to determine root causes and solutions.
- Follow established change management protocols to ensure smooth deployments.
