We are looking for experienced professionals in power and gas trading and technology to join the team.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor one or more European power markets (intraday/day-ahead in CWE, Eastern Europe, UK, Nordics etc.) and the relevant supply and demand factors.
- Execute trades based on quantitative signals and/or discretionary insights
- Take significant responsibility and ownership early to drive strategies forward and ensure success.
- Train new joiners on the desk.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Strong academic background, preferably in a quantitative field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in trading intraday power in Europe, preferably at a proprietary trading desk.
- Proven track record of P&L ownership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a healthy risk appetite, competitive nature, and fast decision-making capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
