In This Role
You will serve as a Senior Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise CRM applications. Your work will focus on building secure, scalable solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps (Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Azure DevOps, with an emphasis on engineering excellence, automation, user experience redesign, and compliance in regulated environments. You will play a key role in simplifying legacy applications, implementing role-based security, and improving operational efficiency through automation and analytics.
Candidates must be based in the Pacific Time Zone (PST). Applicants outside of PST will not be considered as this role requires real-time collaboration with teams operating in Pacific hours.
Key Responsibilities
Dynamics 365 & Dataverse Engineering
- Design and develop model-driven apps using Dataverse, including forms, views, business rules, and business process flows
- Build and register custom plugins in C# and custom APIs to support complex logic and backend processing
- Create and deploy PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls using React and TypeScript to enhance user experience and extend Dynamics functionality
Automation & Integration
- Build Power Automate cloud flows for email notifications, escalations, record updates, and backend automation
- Integrate Dynamics with SharePoint, Azure Functions, and external systems while maintaining security and compliance
- Implement document management and file storage strategies that balance collaboration and regulatory requirements
Application Lifecycle Management & DevOps
- Own ALM processes using Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, solution packaging, version control, and deployment across multiple environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD)
- Ensure high-quality releases through code reviews, pipeline debugging, automated testing, and environment governance
Security, Compliance & Operational Readiness
- Design and enforce role-based access controls, security roles, and entitlement models to safeguard sensitive data
- Align development with compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or internal governance frameworks
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot failures, and drive production readiness and operational excellence
User Experience & Productivity
- Partner with Product and Design to simplify complex forms and workflows, reduce clicks, and improve user adoption
- Implement UX enhancements to improve clarity, navigation, and business process efficiency within model-driven apps
- Support backlog initiatives involving Power Pages upgrades and automated communications
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on experience developing solutions on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse
- Strong proficiency with C#/.NET for writing Dataverse plugins, custom workflow activities, and custom APIs
- Experience building PCF controls using React and TypeScript
- Expertise in Power Automate including error handling, retry patterns, and integration with Dataverse events
- Solid knowledge of Power Platform ALM, Azure DevOps pipelines, solution management, and environment promotion
- Experience designing secure architectures with role-based security and data governance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver operational stability
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Pages configuration or migration projects
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks, security classifications, or threat modeling
- Experience optimizing model-driven app performance and data retrieval strategies
- Prior background working in regulated environments (Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, etc.)
- Certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate), PL-600 (Solution Architect), or Azure DevOps Engineer
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $110,500 to $120,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
