Job Description
Enfinity Global is seeking a Power Markets Analyst to lead detailed US power market research and analysis, perform production cost modelling, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The role requires deep knowledge of power markets, with particular emphasis on solar, battery storage, and data centre applications.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams — including Power Systems, Offtake, and Land Origination — to support broader project and market objectives. This is a modelling-, research-, and analysis-intensive role, carried out in close collaboration with team members based in both India and the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Energy market modelling – update US dataset & forecast
- Market research and analysis
- Report writing

- Python-based automation
- Periodically reviewing Integrated Resource Plans (IRPs), load forecasts, and capacity procurement targets at the utility level
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector
- Degree in Power Systems, Energy Systems, or a related renewable energy
- Hands-on experience with PLEXOS, PROMOD, or other relevant production cost modelling software
- Familiarity with key US power markets — ERCOT, SPP, MISO, WECC, and PJM — is highly desirable; in-depth expertise in at least one of these markets is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to set, manage, and track multiple priorities and the details associated with them
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and working familiarity with Python
- Fluent in English, with a strong command of professional vocabulary
- A creative thinker who continually seeks better ways of working
- A strong sense of ownership and a commitment to getting things right
