The Client
Our Client is a leader in the energy sector, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and sustainable practices. We are expanding their team and seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Specialist with FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) experience to join us in France.

Scope
Our client is looking for for a power generation specialist to do the interface with suppliers and follow the project up to completion. Position in France at the moment but construction will be done in China and will likely travel there in 18 months.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee power generation systems and equipment on FPSO units.
• Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of power generation operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies for energy management and sustainability.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation, with at least 2 years in FPSO environments.
• Strong knowledge of power generation technologies and equipment.
• Proven track record in maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in offshore environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
