About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Lead Power BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team in CTO office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, publishing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that turn data into critical insights and support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient data visualizations.
- Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and data engineers to understand data needs.
- Implement row-level security and manage access permissions.
- Create and maintain documentation of solutions and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Power BI development or a similar BI role.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query (M Language).
- Strong experience in SQL and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, including workspaces, dataflows, and gateway configuration.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Qlik).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in performance tuning and report optimization.
