Power BI Developer w/d MS Azure

Charlotte, NC & SFO, CA(Onsite Day 1/ 3 Days a week in office/Hybrid)

W2/FT Preferred
Job description:- The candidate is responsible for design, development, and deploying interactive and visually compelling business intelligence reports and dashboards. 
1. Should have 6- 8 years of hands-on experience in MS Power BI development and hosting
experience using MS Azure as a cloud platform.
2. Should have worked in Power BI that connects to various data sources available at On-
premises data stores, cloud data stores and in hybrid data stores using multiple data
connectors
3. Must of have MS Azure services experience on integrating Power BI reports/dashboards with
MS Azure AD, MS Azure Power BI services, MS Azure logging & analytical services, MS Azure
Data services and MS power BI associated MS Azure services
4. Must have strong analytical skills in data analysis, should have good collaboration skills to
work with stakeholders to build Power BI reports and dashboards.
5. Understand business requirements and design & develop Power BI reports and data
visualizations.
6. Must have strong experience in data modelling using various data sources that includes
Oracle, SQL server, MS Access, Excel and CSV files.
7. Must have strong experience in using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
8. Identified candidate may be required to analyse existing Power BI reports and optimize the
performance of the reports by verifying data transformation logic and cleansing using Power
Query, DAX and associated SQL queries, SQL SPs
9. Optimize reports/dashboards for performance, ensuring quick response times and efficient
resource utilization.
10. Implement best practices for Power BI development and deployment.
11. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Power BI solutions
