Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Description:
We are actively seeking an experienced and passionate Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making across our organization.
Must-Haves:
Power BI Proficiency:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI features, including report and dashboard creation, data modeling, and proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) expressions.
Data Modeling and Transformation:
- Proven ability to design and optimize data models to support complex reporting requirements.
- Expertise in using M Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Power BI.
Power Automate Integration:
- Experience integrating Power BI with Power Automate for streamlined and automated workflows.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to gather and understand reporting requirements, translating them into effective Power BI solutions.
Documentation:
- Solid documentation skills for capturing data models, report specifications, and integration processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Nice-to-Haves:
Certifications:
- Microsoft Power BI Certification.
BI Tools Experience:
- Familiarity with other business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
Data Visualization Best Practices:
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices to enhance the visual appeal and usability of reports.
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards, with the ability to implement security measures and access controls in Power BI.
