Job Description:

As a Power BI Administrator at RevOpsforce, you will be a cornerstone in managing and enhancing our client’s Power BI environment, enabling teams to make informed decisions through effective data visualization and reporting. With your extensive experience in Power BI administration, you will contribute to the design, maintenance, and optimization of our client’s data visualization platform. Join us in shaping our innovative and forward-thinking team, and play a pivotal role in utilizing Power BI for driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the Power BI platform, including user access, security settings, and data source connections.
  • Design and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and datasets to ensure responsiveness and data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data connections, visualizations, and report generation.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, version control, and data source management within Power BI.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and capabilities, and assess their relevance to our business needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
  • Participate in the integration of Power BI with other data-related tools and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI administration, report development, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, manipulation, and cleansing within Power BI.
  • Experience with optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues in Power BI reports and datasets.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security practices for maintaining data integrity.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI administration or data visualization are advantageous.
