Power Apps/SQL Developer - 2252

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Power Apps/SQL Developer for our client located in Montgomery, AL.

This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. 

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Power Apps developer to work on the design and development of model-driven apps, canvas apps, and power page sites using power platform tools. Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain low-code solutions in Microsoft Power Apps to ensure system requirements are met.
• Serve as subject matter expert in low-code development using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Responsible for understanding business requirements and transforming business use cases into re-engineering applications in Power Apps
• Write plugin code and Java scripts for Power Apps
• Write SQL Stored procedures, views, and functions for Power BI dashboards
• Write pipelines to extract and load data into dataverse or SQL server
• Develop and implement Power Automate flows
• Assisted the project manager, database administrator, and other developers with requirements gathering, migration planning, security access, and implementation of dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience using Power Platform technology in
  • Developing model-driven and canvas apps using Power Apps
  • Developing Power Automate cloud flows
  • Developing dashboards using Power BI
  • Developing plugin code for Power Apps
  • Developing Azure pipelines for loading data into dataverse
• 8+ years of experience in developing SSIS packages, writing SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL server database
• 8+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft .NET technologies using
  • JavaScript and jQuery
  • Asp.Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ
• Strong communication, decision making, organizational skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to undertake challenging jobs. Able to work well independently and also in a team by helping to troubleshoot technology and business-related problems
• Technical Skills
  • Power Platform tools – Power Apps (Model-driven/Canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Azure Pipelines
  • Database: Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Share point Lists, etc.
  • Reporting Tools – Power BI
  • Data Modeling - Logical Modeling, Physical Modeling, Relational Modeling, Entities, Attributes, Cardinality
  • SQL SSIS Packages, Stored procedures, Functions, and Views

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Power Apps Development is plus

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
