Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute API automation test scripts using Postman (collections, environments, Newman).
- Perform API functional, integration, regression, and negative testing.
- Automate UI test cases using Selenium (preferably with JavaScript).
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for both API and UI testing.
- Validate API responses, headers, status codes, and JSON/XML payloads.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
- Perform manual testing when required to support automation gaps.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business teams.
- Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and timely delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and automation.
- Experience using Newman for command-line execution and reporting.
- Solid experience in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Good programming knowledge in JavaScript.
- Experience with TestNG / NUnit / JUnit frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, authentication (OAuth, JWT).
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
