Grow your career as a successful Post Travel Specialist within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving post travel issues while balancing the customer and business needs. You will provide effective communication via email and phone, express empathy, and focus on resolution while meeting or exceeding specific quality and service metrics.
A successful Post Travel Specialist will:
- Focus on Post Travel problem resolution by researching complaints to determine if the issue is supplier related or if the issue can be resolved internally to decide course of action.
- Contact suppliers and customers as needed while managing follow-up by tracking case load utilizing technology platforms to close Post Travel complaints within company service levels.
- Communicate updates and resolution both written and oral, issue travel credits, and request refunds.
- Answer Post Travel inbound calls.
- Report system and product disruptions to service.
- Act as the voice of the customer/TA and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Resolve issues independently.
- Communicate with others via voice and email clearly and concisely.
- Navigate multiple systems including MS Office, internet, and proprietary systems.
A successful Post Travel Specialist will have:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ability to keep existing customers and demonstrate de-escalation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to seek creative solutions with a positive outcome.
- Superior attention to detail & strong listening skills.
