For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for a
Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)
As Portfolio Manager, you will act as the key person for developers and assume overall responsibility for all portfolio assets.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare & present Investment Committee decisions
Assess project finance debt transactions on an international level
Supporting fund audits
Preparing and monitoring investment limitations, distribution calculations, NAV calculations, the plausibility of valuation results etc.
Monitoring the use of funds and flow of funds
Conducting performance attribution analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress tests
Supporting the team at all stages of complex fund investments/project financings
Maintaining and building up relationships with all relevant finance partners (investors, banks, institutional investors)
Attendance of risk management activities (“first line of defense”): risk identification, risk strategy, analyses, etc.
Your Qualifications:
Accomplished bachelor or master degree (business administration, economics, finance or similar)
Min. 7-10 years work experience in Investment Management/Banking, Asset Management, Fund Management, M&A Advisory, or a related field
Experiences in the renewable energy/infrastructure industry is mandatory
Strong product knowledge in the field of project financing, complex portfolio structures and/or private placements & the renewable energy markets
Good financial modelling skills (FAST Standard is considered beneficial)
Good negotiation skills
Excellent organizing skills, precise and reliable working methods coupled with a high degree of independence, implementation strength, and flexibility
Advanced verbal and written English and German (fluent or min. C2) communication skills are required
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team
Ability to analyze and solve non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner
Highly motivated and able to work independently in an international and dynamic environment
