About the Position:

Diversify Advisor Network is hiring a part-time or full-time Portfolio Analyst Intern. This position is ideal for college juniors and seniors seeking investment careers, though all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position sits at the intersection of portfolio construction, investment strategy, and data management. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, with successful interns potentially transitioning into full-time Portfolio Analyst roles. This is an in-office position at our Sandy, Utah headquarters.

Your Impact:

• Process Automation: Transform routine tasks into systematized workflows while proactively identifying opportunities to improve team efficiency.
• Portfolio Analysis: Analyze portfolios for Advisors’ current and prospective clients. Create customized, multi-asset-class investment proposals that align with each client's objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
• Portfolio Construction: Develop a deep understanding of Diversify’s investment platform, including internal and external equity, fixed income, and alternative investment strategies. Learn to combine asset classes and investment strategies to meet the portfolio needs of clients.
• Material Maintenance: Create and maintain internal (Advisor facing) and external (client facing) documents.
• Investment Research: Leverage data from Morningstar, YCharts, and other tools to support Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts in conducting investment research and completing ad-hoc portfolio management projects.

Who You Are:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, economics, accounting, financial planning, math, statistics or a related field is preferred.

Your Toolkit:

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required. Strong preference for candidates who can use programming to automate analysis, build repeatable workflows, and manage data effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Extremely detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and an ownership mentality in the quality of your work.
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with a commitment to contributing to team success.
