Support Credit & Portfolio Management functions by managing a portfolio of SFR loans using a risk-based approach. Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our Consumer Portfolio Management Credit team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough loan reviews, analyzing borrower financials, and managing key servicing tasks. Maintaining a healthy portfolio by supporting escrow management processes, resolving borrower inquiries, Post Covenant Pledge Agreement processes, Bridge Extension Agreements, Title Transfer, and Insurance Claim document gathering.Execute credit monitoring policies that align with our risk culture and ensure portfolio safety. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive loan reviews, collection of financial statements, financial statement spreading and the financial analysis of borrowers
- Routine monitoring of Consumer credit tasks in Salesforce
- Servicing borrower inquires and facilitating the gathering of essential portfolio data is essential
- Assist in the development and execution of monitoring policies and procedures to manage credit risk effectively and efficiently
- Escrow management: Handling the management of escrow accounts for taxes and insurance
- Inquiry resolution: Answering customer questions about their loan details, balances, and processes
- Gather necessary documentation and evidence by claimants, contacting third parties like contractors or claim adjusters
- Understand the credit culture and risk tolerance as outlined by senior management and the Board, and proactively identify and mitigate potential threats against the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of experience in monitoring and structuring consumer lending transactions
- Knowledge of consumer credit framework, and basic credit legal documentation principles
- Strong Credit Analysis skills
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to use core Microsoft Office programs and applications such as Word and Excel with ease
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay organized and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
