Position Overview:

As the PMO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the Project Management Office for our veterinarian company. Reporting directly to the companies Chief of Staff, you will oversee project delivery, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies. Your strategic leadership and expertise will ensure the successful execution of initiatives that support our mission and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing PMO Framework:
    • Develop and implement a standardized PMO framework, including project governance, methodologies, and tools, tailored to Bond Vet's unique needs.
    • Define project management standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistency and alignment across all projects.
  • Project Portfolio Management:
    • Lead the identification, prioritization, and selection of projects aligned with business goals and strategic objectives.
    • Oversee the management of the project portfolio, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling, to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain project performance metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators, project status, and milestones.
    • Generate regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing insights into project performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Reports directly to the Chief of Staff who reports directly to the CEO.
  • Project Delivery Oversight:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the business project managers and teams, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.


You have;

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in project management, with experience in a leadership role overseeing a PMO or project portfolio.
  • Experience in the healthcare or veterinarian industry is a plus.

Compensation will fall between $100-$120k +10% bonus annually based on experience
