The Design & Construction (D&C) PMO (Project Management Office) is actively seeking a PMO Master Scheduler to join our team. The Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing comprehensive project schedules for the PMO Major Construction Team. This role ensures that all construction projects are planned, tracked, and executed efficiently to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. The Master Scheduler will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to align schedules, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in predictive scheduling, Earned Schedule (ES) and experienced in large construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Maintain Schedules: Create and maintain owner controlled integrated master schedules using tools like Primavera P6, OPC, Microsoft Project, or equivalent software, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and milestones.
- Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS): Work with project team to develop a project WBS for project control systems to guide scheduling and monitoring.
- OFCI Tracking: Integrate timelines with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Resource Planning: Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to avoid bottlenecks and ensure project progress.
- Predictive Scheduling: Forecast major milestone, identify bottlenecks and proposing strategies to prevent delays.
- Critical Path Analysis: Identify and monitor critical path activities, proactively addressing potential delays and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Earned Schedule (ES): Link cost baselines to planned milestones in order to transform EVM metrics into duration-based forecasts for an improved schedule performance evaluation of critical path activities
- Schedule Performance Index (SPI): Measure progress with objective indicators of schedule against earned value metrics or order to enable proactive risk management
- Risk Management: Identify scheduling risks and constraints, collaborating with the project team to develop contingency plans and solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure schedule alignment and clear communication of timelines and dependencies.
- Change Management: Evaluate the impact of scope changes, delays, or resource constraints on schedules and adjust plans accordingly.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of scheduling best practices, templates, and governance tools to enhance PMO efficiency and standardization.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure schedules comply with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Track project progress, update schedules in real-time, and generate regular reports (e.g., Gantt charts, milestone reports) thru dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
- Support decision-making by providing consistent, verifiable data for reports
- Owns and oversees the implementation and use of Generative Scheduling tools across all the construction projects

QualificationsMinimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 15 years of project scheduling experience
- 5 years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase construction projects
- Experience with workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget integration
- Experience with Earned Value Management and schedule risk analysis
- Experience integrating subcontractor and vendor schedules into a master schedule
Preferred requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, OPC, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software
- Knowledge of CPM, sequencing, resource allocation, project controls, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Experience with generative scheduling tools such as ALICE
- PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Advanced Work Packages and other execution strategies
- Familiarity with lean construction principles or agile project management
