What you'll be doing
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance processes
- Support Project Managers with schedules, budgets, and risk management
- Analyse project data and prepare detailed reports for sponsors and teams
- Audit project documentation and recommend improvements
- Maintain and enhance project tools and templates
- Facilitate benefits identification and realisation throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and training programmes
What you'll bring
Essential:
- 5+ years’ experience in PMO or project controls within large, complex projects.
- Degree level education, HNC, or equivalent experience in project management
- Strong understanding of risk, cost, and schedule management
- Experience with governance frameworks and lifecycle methodologies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Risk software, and MS Project
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- APM PFQ/PMQ or equivalent qualifications.
- Certification in project control elements (Risk, Schedule, Cost)
- Experience in running Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) on large projects
- Experience working with MoD or complex stakeholder environments
