Position: PMO Analyst / Business Analyst
Location: Fully Remote
We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Analyst / Business & Data Analyst with experience in implementing Keyedin, and utilizing a combination of Power BI to deliver real time project data analytics.
The ideal resource will manage projects effectively and provide deeper insights into project and resource performance, financial health, and more. This integrated approach will make it easier for the business to track progress, optimize resources, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. Experience with BOTH Keyedin tool and Power BI are required, as well as project management or business and data analysis, with the ability to streamline processes and optimize project management practices/data using both Keyedin and Power BI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Keyedin tool for project management and portfolio optimization and optimize reporting information with Power BI.
- Integrate data from KeyedIn with other systems in the organization (like HR systems, finance software, etc.) into Power BI, enabling comprehensive view of how resources are being utilized across multiple projects, departments, and business units. Produce visualizations that help quickly spot cost overruns, assess project profitability, or forecast financial trends.
- Experience includes inputting data into KeyedIn: project timelines, resource allocation, costs, and budgets. Creating a Data Sync to Power BI, either through a built-in connector or an API, allowing for real-time data to be pulled into Power BI.
- Create live dashboard that pulls project data (like milestone completion, resource hours logged, etc.) from KeyedIn and presents it in a clear, actionable format. Reviews the dashboards regularly to gain insights into the health of projects, and make decisions to reallocate resources or adjust project timelines as needed.
- Set up alerts in Power BI based on certain thresholds (e.g., when project budgets exceed a certain percentage or resource utilization is lower than expected) to report and mitigate risk if any key metric in KeyedIn falls outside of desired parameters, enabling timely intervention.
- Conduct process reengineering activities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PMO office
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and design solutions
- Develop project plans, track progress, and report on key performance indicators
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery capabilities
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in implementing Keyedin tool for project management and portfolio optimization
- Strong expertise with Power BI and providing reports data metrics to Sr leadership
- Strong background in process reengineering and business analysis for PMO office
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
