Capital City Club Brookhaven's Culinary Department is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and team-focused individual for our night-time Line Cook position. This position is Full-time with flexibility if there is interest in part-time. The position includes health vision, life, dental insurance, 401(k) with a company match, hot meals, and uniforms. The position is high volume with great cross-training opportunities on sauté and grill stations.


Job Task:
  1.  Supervises pantry crew in the preparation of salads, dressings, etc.
  2.  Requisitions food supplies necessary to produce the items on the menu.
  3.  Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
  4. Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
  5. Notifies sous chef in advance of expected shortages. 
  6. Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
  7. Ensures that work area and equipment are clean and sanitary.
  8.  Covers, dates and neatly stores re-usable leftover products.
  9.  Assists with other duties as instructed by the sous chef and the executive chef.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional culinary experience specializing in cold food preparation.
  • Expertise in salads, appetizers, dressings, terrines, pâtés, and cold buffet presentation.
  • Strong knife skills and precision in portioning, garnishing, and plating.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety, HACCP standards, and kitchen sanitation.
  • Skilled in inventory management, labeling, and product rotation (FIFO).
  • Creative eye for visual presentation and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Flexible and reliable — able to work long hours, weekends, and high-volume events.

Position Reports to Executive Chef and or Sous Chef
