In this role, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Creation of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection;

  • Interface checks and design control, followed by manufacturability assessment with support from manufacturing site;

  • Data control in a known engineering data center storage software such as Teamcenter or SAP;

  • Execution of routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contribution to technological developments in teams under supervision;

  • Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information;

  • Works within a team setting and / or under guidance. Alternatively: executing routine but complex analysis;

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  •  Graduated in engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Naval Engineering;

  • Intermediate English (advanced is preferred);

  • Recommended a Technical course formation in an accredited organization e.g., SENAI or other;

  • Experience with solids and 3D modeling, preferably in CREO software, but Solidworks is also acceptable;

  • Preferably +2 year experience working as an engineer, designer or intern;
