PLC Engineer -Technical expert responsible for developing and optimizing automation, , ensuring process performance, reliability, and integration of innovations to reduce scrap and improve quality.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Develop PLC programs to improve performance and support new projects.
Manage suppliers for the integration of new solutions.
Implement innovations to optimize performance.
Control and ensure process parameters, automation, vision, and repeatability.
Create and optimize parameters to strengthen robustness and reduce scrap.
Eliminate causes of non-quality and ensure reliable controls.
Manage and participate in the creation and evolution of PFMEA.
Ensure documentation compliance during improvements.
Support industrial projects (TG3 start-up, continuous improvement)
Ensure process efficiency and standardization.
Master specific parameters related to the activity.
Propose and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance of documents related to processes and projects.
If you have/are:
Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, continuous improvement. Expertise in PLC Systems. Languages: English required.
Degree: Engineer in automation and industrial computing.
Dynamic, rigorous, proactive.
Discipline and respect for standards.
Analytical mindset, sense of priorities.
Autonomy and ability to make proposals.
Automation: Siemens PLC (300, 1200, 1500), STEP 7 / TIA Portal software, HMI WinCC.
Vision: Cognex In-Sight Explorer, Keyence IV-Navigator / XG-X Vision Editor.
Industrial IT: PROFInet, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP.
Fluent in French and English

Skills Required
- Degree in Automation and Industrial Computing or equivalent engineering degree
- Expertise in Siemens PLC systems (S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500)
- Experience with STEP 7 / TIA Portal
- Experience with HMI WinCC
- Experience with machine vision systems (Cognex In-Sight Explorer, Keyence IV-Navigator, XG-X Vision Editor)
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP)
- Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with PFMEA creation and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage suppliers and integrate new automation solutions
- Strong documentation discipline and compliance during process improvements
- Fluent in English and French (bilingual)
- Analytical mindset, proactive, autonomous, and disciplined
