About the Role
Network Audio Element Technology Development
- Software development for common modules for products equipped with network functions
- Various product certifications (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radio certifications for different countries, etc.)
What You Will Do
- Creation of module specifications
- Tuning of Linux kernel for modules and development of device drivers
- Communication within the company (Japan, US, Australia, etc.) for problem-solving (via web systems, email, meetings)
- Communication with external partners (Taiwan, India, US, etc.) for technical research or problem-solving (via web systems, email, meetings)
- Support for various product certifications (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radio certifications for different countries, etc.)
- Advanced development of new features based on the new product roadmap
- Research on new technologies and proposal of new features based on that research
- Participation in domestic and international technology exhibitions for technical research
What You Need to Be Successful
- Experience in software development on Linux (embedded Linux experience is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, server-client, etc.)
- Business-level English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher)
Bonus Points if You Have
- Advanced knowledge of Linux kernel and device drivers
- Knowledge and experience with software development tools and platforms (e.g., GitHub)
- Knowledge of electronic circuits
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency)
- Knowledge of digital audio interfaces
- Knowledge of network audio
- Strong communication skills
- Logical thinking ability
- Educational background in electrical/electronic engineering, communication engineering, computer engineering, or acoustical engineering
