The Role
We are seeking an experienced Platform Integration Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise integration platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. The role will focus on API integration, messaging, managed file transfer, CI/CD automation, platform administration, security, and production operations.

MuleSoft/Anypoint Platform, OpenText MFT/Trading Grid, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Solace, IBM DataPower, SAP integration, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, SFTP/FTPS/AS2, PGP, TLS/mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, certificates, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Python/Bash, Linux, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
The engineer will be responsible for building reusable integration capabilities, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, integrating enterprise applications and middleware platforms, implementing security controls, monitoring platform health, troubleshooting production issues, and driving platform reliability and standardization.

Required skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technologies.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform, OpenText MFT, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Solace, IBM DataPower, and/or SAP integration platforms.
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, messaging, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with Git, Linux, Python/Bash scripting, and automation.
Experience with SFTP, FTPS, AS2, PGP, TLS/SSL, mTLS, certificates, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and API security.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and preferably Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, or Ansible.
Strong experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, security, and enterprise platform operations.
Ability to work with application, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and architecture teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments is preferred.
