Platform Engineer (Full-Stack Generalist)

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance shared platform libraries and reusable components that support multiple applications, services, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Design and implement cross-functional features spanning backend services, frontend applications, and AI agent ecosystems to ensure seamless platform integration.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation to ensure platform reliability and quality.
• Improve developer productivity by enhancing local development environments, technical documentation, debugging tools, and engineering best practices.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate innovative AI agents, user interfaces, forms, and mini-applications using vibecoding frameworks and reusable platform tooling.
• Support software release management activities, including version control, environment promotion processes, deployment validation, and production readiness reviews.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents across platform components while contributing to continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development using Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing both backend services and frontend applications using technologies such as FastAPI, Next.js, React, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization, CI/CD practices, and Kubernetes fundamentals within cloud-native environments.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new development frameworks, tools, protocols, and emerging technologies.
• Working knowledge of AI and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts, including agent architectures, prompt engineering, and external tool integration patterns.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and incident response capabilities in production environments.
• Experience contributing to collaborative software development processes using modern version control and DevOps practices.
Other Qualifications:
• Experience working within platform engineering, developer productivity, or internal tooling teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI agent platforms, orchestration frameworks, and modern application integration architectures is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional team environments.
• Relevant certifications in Software Development, Cloud Technologies, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines are a plus.
• Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and improving engineering efficiency across the software development lifecycle.
