Job Summary
The Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting
business technology solutions across the platforms used by Standard Solar. This role will support a broad
range of enterprise systems, including but not limited to NetSuite ERP, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse,
Salesforce, and AI agent development platforms. The position will work closely with business stakeholders,
process owners, and technical teams to understand requirements, deliver scalable solutions, troubleshoot
issues, improve data and system integrations, and support continuous improvement across the
organization’s technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Quality & Business Platforms Manager, this role will
be based in the Rockville, MD headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and support solutions across Standard Solar’s enterprise technology
platforms, including NetSuite ERP, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, Salesforce, and AI agent development
tools. -
- Develop and maintain integrations, automations, workflows, reports, dashboards, scripts, and data
connections between enterprise applications and business processes.
- Support NetSuite ERP functionality, including configuration, saved searches, roles, permissions, custom
records, scripts, workflows, and integrations that enable finance, procurement, project, and operational
processes.
- Support NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and related reporting environments by developing datasets,
dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions that improve business visibility and decision-making.
- Support Salesforce configuration and development, including custom objects, flows, integrations,
reporting, and enhancements that align with business requirements.
- Develop, configure, test, and maintain AI agents, automations, and related workflows to improve
document processing, data extraction, process execution, and user productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, system errors, integration failures, access issues, and data
discrepancies across supported platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, test documentation, support notes,
and user-facing guidance for supported systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA, IT, consultants, and other cross-functional
teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.
- Provide post-production support for day-to-day issues, enhancement requests, system testing, user
acceptance testing, releases, and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage assigned development and support tasks in accordance with defined priorities, deadlines, quality
standards, and change management expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Data Analytics, or a
related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing, configuring, integrating, or supporting enterprise business
applications.
- Proficiency in SQL, SQL Developer, JavaScript, APEX, Python, REST APIs, Git, and/or GitHub.
- Experience with one or more enterprise platforms such as NetSuite ERP, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse,
Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, AI agent development tools, integration platforms, reporting tools, or
similar business systems.
- Working knowledge of system configuration, data models, workflows, integrations, APIs, reporting,
dashboards, user roles, permissions, testing, and release support.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions that support finance,
procurement, project management, operations, quality, analytics, or customer relationship management
processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, and the ability to
collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Conducts work in both field-type environments and professional office settings with local travel to jobsites to
conduct inspections.
Physical working conditions may involve the following:
• Lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, reaching, and/or bending.
• Extended periods of reading fine print on a computer or in paper-based format.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS:
Routine aspects of this position may place the incumbent in situations where they may be susceptible to potential
hazards from the following:
• Trips, slips and/or falls while on customer property.
• Chemical abrasives are used in office and kitchen cleaning.
• Lifting items up to 20 pounds in weight.
• Other hazardous conditions on customer premises, not otherwise defined here.
