Cloud Devops Architect

What you’ll achieve
As a Cloud Devops Architect you will is to implement platform solutions for Cloud based and on Premise deployments as well the management of a microservices architecture. This includes the anticipation to the technological evolution of our product, the support and guidance of different R&D teams at different sites and esp. team work with the platform architects.
Anticipation of requirements for on-premise as well as cloud based deployments are mandatory for the position. Technological evolution of existing deployment mechanism into DevOps based, cloud-ready deployment are key for this role.
You will:
- Design and implement state of the Art application platform for the ORBIS U framework
- Define setup and develop cloud-based software with focus on AWS
- Ensure installability, portability, scalability and serviceability

Essential Requirements

Strong in Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Go, JavaEE, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, SQL

Practical experience in development of enterprise applications with web technologies

Experience in setting up CI environments and DevOps methodologies

Knowledge in development of Web and Desktop Applications

Strong oral and written English language skills
Desirable Requirements

Deliver re-usable application and platform components
-
Define and design new products as well as incremental re-work of current products.

Prepare and conduct user testing together with product managers.

Perform design reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs.

Work with both local and international product teams.
