Job Description

Job Description:

As a Planview developer, you are a key Motorola Solutions IT Global Services team member building the next-generation Project Management Platform. You will help define and develop the technical solutions, design applications, and work with development teams and business partners to build the solutions per design. You will work with a cross-functional talented IT team to implement requirements and provide development solutions for our Systems Integration team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure Planview Portfolios, Projectplace, and Agileplace to align with the organization's needs and requirements

  • Partner and work cross-functionally with IT and business teams to create a world-class project management solution

  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate Planview with other software applications(ERP, CRM, etc)

  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and views that offer insight into program and portfolio performance

  • Take an active role in the exploration and delivery of automation and Artificial Intelligence use cases within Planview and integrated systems

  • Co-create SIT, UAT, and Cutover plans with business partners and drive them through execution

  • Create and maintain Functional and technical documentation

  • Helping to foster a quality and customer-focused mindset through training, guidelines, and support


Basic Requirements

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field 

  • 3+ years of experience in Planview application development/administration, SSRS, and Power BI

  • Experience in configuring Lifecycles, Scripted Dialogs, and Financial Management 

  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries to generate reports

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Report Builder (SSRS), Power BI, and Tableau

  • Experience in web services API development to integrate with other systems 

  • Good understanding of Oracle ERP, especially Project Accounting, Finance, and Order Management modules

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • 5+ years of professional work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
