The primary purpose of this position is to manage the material planning, production scheduling, demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management processes for the Electrochem business as well as to lead the sales and operations planning process. The incumbent will supervise Associates who perform the production planning processes, including Plan-for-Every Part analyses and Kanban system implementation and execution.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

 Adheres to Integer Core Value and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

 Responsible for driving the execution of operations, materials, and inventory planning. Plans and monitors the preparation of master schedules, production schedules, and the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) tools for the business and, when needed to ensure on time delivery to the customer, initiates the necessary steps to maintain conformity with schedules.

 Manages the cross functional team charged with inventory management initiatives in a proactive manner. Establishes production schedules and devises methods and attendant work instructions to achieve effective and efficient movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining minimum inventory investment.

 Responsible for “Plan for Every Part” (PFEP) strategy and implementation. Duties include monthly and quarterly material analysis to align Kanban Material System with the production plans, End of Life (EOL), and stranger model material analysis, and market standardization. Manages the material gate call system to contain outages and drive root cause investigations to required actions. Ensures planning associates maintain item master data accuracy in Oracle ERP to support the Kanban workbench or MRP planning process in Oracle.

 Prepares summary reports of safety stock and delivery performance and communicates, as appropriate, to plant leadership and the S&OP Team.  Acts as a liaison between operations and customer service to ensure customer orders are accurate and shipments are on time to meet committed customer dock dates. .

 Leads/participates in cost and inventory reduction, process improvement and quality improvement efforts.

Education & Experience:

 Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

 Minimum Experience: 5-7 years related work experience. Knowledge & Skills:

 Special Skills: Planning, organization, material management, computer, and communications skills

 Specialized Knowledge: ERP & MRP (Oracle preferred), Kanban systems, Lean Manufacturing Tools including direct experience with Plan-for-Every-Part systems.
