Role Purpose
Production Scheduler creates and manages our production plans to meet customer and company needs. Additionally, tracks the availability of WIP and Raw materials to meet production demands while ensuring minimal waste, inventory level and operational changes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages detailed timeline of our production runs by schedule and machine center based on data from Blue Yonder, along with various Excel based planning spreadsheets
- Coordinates availability of WIP, Raw Ingredients, and Packaging materials to meet production schedule and adjusts as
needed - Monitors and balances customer order data and stock levels to minimize both out of stocks and overproduction
- Applies critical problem-solving skills to resolve challenges with production schedule related to equipment breakdowns,
ingredient delays, or unexpected demand shifts - Proactively identifies and communicates potential production bottlenecks (related to both capacity and material availability, and informs impacted members to resolve or adjust production schedule
- Distributes daily production schedules to the cross-functional team
- Other duties and projects assigned
- Maintains accurate files and reports for production activities and analytics
- Follows all Food Safety guidelines, such as, but not limited to: GMP’s / Allergen Program / HACCP / Sanitation / Safety
Education and/or Experience
- Preferred Associates or Bachelors in Business Administration or Manufacturing
- Required: 2-4 years of manfucaturing and office experience

Compensation and Benefits:
- $63,000 -$80,100 / year USD (commensurate with experience and location)

Skills Required
- 2-4 years of manufacturing and office experience
- Experience using Blue Yonder for production planning
- Proficiency with Excel and Excel-based planning spreadsheets
