Job Description

  • Provide planning and scheduling services across complex data centre development, expansion and fit-out projects, including greenfield, brownfield and live operational environments.
  • Conduct Pre-baseline reviews of contractor’s programmes to check adherence to the required contractual requirements and industry standard scheduling practices.
  • Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to the clients.
  • Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes in case of major delays.
  • Arrange meetings with multiple client-side stakeholders to understand their inputs and deliverables during the project and create an Integrated Master Works Programme including all these dependencies linked to Main Contractor’s programme.
  • To provide sound advice to the clients during all phases of the project regarding the most efficient timelines of carrying out multi-staged complex construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Planner/Scheduler on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, with data centre, mission-critical, hyperscale, or critical facilities experience highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure systems including power, cooling, commissioning and operational readiness requirements.
  • Candidates with prior on-site working experience on construction projects will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end construction and project processes
  • Professional proficiency in P6 (Primavera) and MS Project. Knowledge of Asta or other programming software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
  • Preferable large-scale infrastructure project experience 
  • Valid working rights in New Zealand
