Insurance Placement Specialist (Hybrid, Non-sales)

The Insurance Placement Specialists works very closely with our sales agents/producers and our insurance carriers. The sales agent gets client information to the Insurance Placement Specialist, then the Specialist works closely with our carriers and their underwriters to get quotes, then gets the quotes back to the sales agent so the agent can present the quotes to the client. Placement Specialists also address carrier questions, problem solve, and negotiate terms and conditions of the transaction as well as prepare insurance proposals based on best fit for prospect/client. (NOTE: Current or previous insurance industry experience is a huge plus, but not required. What You’ll Do
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the insurance marketplace
- Establish and maintain strong productive relationships with prospects, clients and carriers
- Select carrier that best meets prospect/client needs
- Provide excellent, timely customer service for prospects/clients
- Perform data entry into Insurance data system and maintain client records
- Timely and accurately file client documentation
- Complete & submit applications to Insurance carriers
- Promote TRICOR in the community
