The IMA Group is seeking a full-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our Veteran-focused evaluation team in Manhattan. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise in a structured assessment environment while maintaining a predictable weekday schedule.
This role is centered on conducting comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans and documenting clinical findings. Physicians in this position do not provide ongoing treatment, prescribe medications, or manage long-term patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform medical evaluations and physical assessments for Veterans
- Review medical histories, supporting documentation, and diagnostic information
- Accurately document examination findings using established reporting protocols
- Complete detailed medical reports in accordance with program requirements
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely case completion
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Active and unrestricted New York medical license
- Strong clinical assessment and medical documentation skills
- Experience conducting evaluations, occupational medicine, independent medical examinations, or similar assessment-based work is preferred
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility is advantageous
- Competitive salary up to $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
- Monday–Friday daytime schedule
- No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
