The Physician Compensation and Clinic Operations Analyst will ensure that provider compensation within Regional West Medical Group is transparent, accurate, and fully aligned with contractual obligations, Fair Market Value (FMV) standards, and organizational strategy. We are looking for a person who will be driven by the opportunity to combine analytical precision with healthcare operations in order to support fair, competitive, and sustainable compensation practices that strengthen the provider workforce.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to RWHS Finance, RWPC leadership, and Legal by delivering robust data analytics, financial modeling, and reporting that inform proactive decision-making. This work will impact recruitment, engagement, and retention of high-quality clinical talent.

A Day in the Life
The day begins with reviewing compensation data and ensuring all provider records are accurately maintained. Administer and reconcile physician and APP compensation according to employment agreements, productivity models, and incentive structures. This includes validating base salary, wRVU performance, stipends, and value-based compensation components.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliation reports that provide a clear picture of provider earnings and performance. These reports serve as a critical checkpoint for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with FMV guidelines.
Focusing deeper analysis and cross-functional collaboration, e valuate new or revised compensation plans, supporting strategic initiatives such as clinic expansions, new service lines, and provider onboarding. This work ensures that compensation structures are both competitive and financially sustainable.
Collaborate with RWHS Finance to support the annual budgeting process, projecting provider compensation and benefits expenses with precision. At the same time, generate dashboards and analytics for RWPC leadership, highlighting trends in provider productivity, staffing models, and compensation performance.
Throughout the day, serve as a resource for providers and leadership, researching and resolving inquiries related to compensation formulas, calculations, and discrepancies. Clear communication is essential as it will translate complex financial models into understandable explanations that build trust and transparency.
Work on operational support and system maintenance, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes by setting up compensation plans, establishing draw structures, and ensuring smooth payment transitions for providers entering or exiting the organization.
Analyze APP-specific compensation models, ensuring consistency and fairness across clinical roles. This includes reviewing methodology, verifying data integrity, and identifying opportunities to improve transparency and standardization.
Contribute to financial discussions related to provider performance, cost efficiency, and resource alignment. Your insights will help leaders make informed decisions that balance operational needs with strategic priorities.
Working to finalize reports, verify data accuracy, and ensure all compensation processes are up to date. Every task—whether reconciliation, modeling, or reporting—is guided by a commitment to integrity, precision, and collaboration.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of healthcare experience with a strong focus on provider and APP compensation, financial analysis, or benefits administration.
