We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support physicians, and contribute to a positive, efficient clinical environment. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients, developing care plans, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
- Perform minor procedures as appropriate to specialty
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and clinic policies
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment & Schedule
- Clinic-based setting
- Typical schedule: [e.g., Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM]
- Occasional extended hours or weekends, depending on patient needs
