Care Alliance Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our integrated primary care team. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered care while serving diverse and underserved communities throughout Cleveland.

As a Physician Assistant at Care Alliance, you will provide comprehensive primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive services, and chronic disease management. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes and advance our mission of providing exceptional, accessible, and compassionate healthcare for all. 

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive and focused patient assessments and physical examinations. 
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. 
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. 
  • Order and interpret laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and other appropriate studies. 
  • Prescribe medications within applicable scope and prescriptive authority. 
  • Provide preventive care, screenings, immunizations, and chronic disease management. 
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, medications, prevention, and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
  • Identify care gaps and support patients in achieving their health goals. 
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, pharmacists, care coordinators, Community Health Workers, and other members of the care team.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and appropriate patient follow-up.

Work Environment 

This position works in outpatient clinical settings with frequent interaction among patients, medical providers, behavioral health clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams. Occasional travel between Care Alliance clinic locations may be required to support behavioral health services.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a compassionate and clinically skilled provider who is committed to trauma-informed, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, culturally responsive, and comfortable working with patients who may have complex behavioral health and medical needs.

  • Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program. 
  • Current NCCPA certification. 
  • Current, unrestricted Ohio Physician Assistant license. 
  • Current prescriptive authority as required for the position. 
  • Current BLS certification. 
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to successfully complete Care Alliance credentialing and privileging      requirements. 

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient primary care, an FQHC/community health center or safety-net setting, serving diverse and underserved populations, and Epic or another EHR system is preferred.
