The Crown Is Yours
We are looking for a Physical Security Technical Engineer who will work directly with our Global Physical Security Teams and partners to collaborate in the real-world application of physical security throughout DraftKings. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert on new and cutting-edge technologies and security measures for possible application to the existing suite of security processes and measures in order to enhance the security posture across all DraftKings sites.
What you'll do as the Physical Security Technical Engineer

  • Design physical security standards, manage vendor installations, and support security system technical issues.
  • Develop and deploy physical security technology standards globally in accordance with DraftKings business requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise for access control and video surveillance technologies and support high visibility needs of the business on a variety of special projects.
  • Manage the security system life cycle to maintain system health and compliance, including system triage, service escalation, and the oversight of the maintenance and repair performed by vendor support teams.
  • Lead software upgrade testing, deployments and maintenance of software and hardware contracts.
  • Collect and maintain security system data to identify system health, performance trends, and system configuration compliance, and recommend repeatable strategies to address issues at scale.
  • Maintain familiarity with current and emerging electronic security vendors and solutions such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and biometrics.
  • Provide and maintain "as built" documentation for all corporate locations.


What you'll bring

  • At least 5 years of physical security system design experience preferably in a corporate security, data center, or similar mission-critical setting..
  • Deep experience installing and maintaining Genetec & AMAG Symmetry systems; certifications in these systems are a strong plus.
  • Ability to integrate technical and system security requirements such as limited to access control, intrusion detection systems, video surveillance systems, and duress systems, into the overall security design drawings and models.
  • Experience completing technical drawings and 'how to documents'.
  • Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC and IFC.
  • Ability to travel and to work 'on call' schedule as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,680.00 - $155,520.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
