What are we looking for?

Are you an experienced PHP developer who thrives on building robust back-end systems? Do you have deep expertise in Laravel and REST APIs, and enjoy working with relational databases? What are you expected to do?

• Maintain and support our existing Laravel application, including code refactoring and performance optimization.
• Develop new features and functionality aligned with product roadmap goals.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable REST APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Collaborate with fellow developers, QA engineers, and team leads in a distributed, Agile environment.
• Write and maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
• Analyze and improve application performance, ensuring fast and efficient execution.
• Implement industry best practices for security, data protection, and system architecture.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production and staging environments.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have 5+ years of expert-level experience in PHP and Laravel 11 (latest version and previous three years).
• You are highly skilled in REST API development and understand API authentication, rate limiting, and data handling best practices.
• You have extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and can write optimized queries and migrations.
• You have experience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, and EC2.
• You are proficient with Git and understand branching strategies and version control best practices.
• Experience working on SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
• You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• You have experience with JavaScript (ES13) and modern front-end frameworks.
• You have worked with Vue.js (version 2 & 3) for front-end development.
• You are familiar with Laravel Forge for server management and deployments.
• You have previous involvement in legacy code refactoring and platform modernization.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.

We would be grateful if you have these already:

1. Fit to Work/Health Card (Basic 5 employment medical tests)
2. NBI Clearance
3. Social IDs - PHIC, SSS, HDMF, TIN 
4. Character references with contact info
