The Sandbox team is looking for PhD residents and Postdocs interested in doing research in any area of post-quantum cryptography. The position is remote but we have funds to allow travel to meet other team members. We are open to strong candidates that reinforce existing expertise of the team as well as candidates extending our expertise. - Research and design new quantum-resistant cryptographic primitives or attacks
- Implement and validate innovative cryptographic constructions and/or protocols
- Strong background in post-quantum cryptography design and / or cryptanalysis
- Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols
- Strong publication record
- Programming experience
- Location: Remote in North America or Europe
- Start date: Year-round, on a rolling basis
- Duration: Flexible, typically between 4 months to one year
- Eligibility
- For PhD residencies: Currently enrolled in a PhD program in cryptography (or defended less than a year ago). **Currently enrolled non-PhD post-graduate students may be considered on a case-by-case basis as Master Interns (e.g. currently enrolled in MD, Masters)
