Department: Pharmacy
Assists in the procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution of medications under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
QualificationsMinimum Education:
- High school graduate; completion of course work leading to licensure as a Pharmacy Technician
Minimum Experience/Skills: Minimum of one (1) year experience in hospital pharmacy including automation and aseptic preparation of large volume parenterals, intravenous antibiotics, chemo-therapeutic agents, and total parenteral nutrition highly preferred OR, minimum of five (5) years recent retail pharmacy experience required.
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
- Pharmacy Technician license with California State Board of Pharmacy

Vision Requirements:
- Ability to read computer generated reports and labels
- Ability to read VDT displays

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
