Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for pharmacy benefit management, applying deep industry knowledge to inform strategy, optimize benefit design, and ensure compliance with DoD and TRICARE standards.
- Acts as the bridge between commercial innovation and military health requirements, ensuring recommendations are practical, compliant, and mission-focused.
- Provides technical credibility for benefit design decisions and acquisition strategies, reducing risk and accelerating modernization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five(5) years of related work experience working with the pharmacy benefit space
- Experience in pharmacy benefits management operations and contracts, benefit design, pricing models, and clinical pharmacy practices
- Must also have a minimum of five(5) years of experience in Government administration of pharmacy benefits.
- DoD or VA is preferred, however is not mandatory
- Must possess an active pharmacy license
Skills Required
- At least five years of related experience in the pharmacy benefits field
- Experience with pharmacy benefits management operations and contracts
- Experience with benefit design and pricing models
- Experience with clinical pharmacy practices
- At least five years of experience in government administration of pharmacy benefits
- Active pharmacy license
- DoD or VA experience
