Seeking Pharmacist—Diplomatic Support Hospital for U.S. Government Support – Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil)

Cherokee Federal is recruiting experienced Pharmacist—Diplomatic Support Hospital to support U.S. government medical operations in Iraq. Provide pharmacy services supporting task-order medical operations and initial prescription needs for eligible Chief of Mission personnel. ** This role Is contingent upon award. 

** Secret Clearance Is Preferred Or ability to obtain required clearance for the role

** Per contract, candidate required to work more than 10 hours as regular shift / Overtime hours / holidays and weekends 

 

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen and possess active U.S Passport to qualify.
 

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience.

 

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provide pharmacy services for task-order performance.

  • Support the provision, administration, and maintenance of the medical formulary.

  • Provide initial medical prescriptions to eligible COM personnel until their recurring medication supply chain is established.

  • Inform patients that they are responsible for obtaining recurring maintenance medications after the initial prescription.

  • Support pharmacy usage and consumption reporting.


Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in Pharmacist.

Certification:

  • Professional licensure and credentials must remain current.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital pharmacy, emergency formulary, deployed medical operations, and medication-inventory experience Is preferred. 


  • Mut pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
