About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Chatuge Regional Hospital (CRH). As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Your main goal will be to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Residency training in pharmacy practice or a related field
- Board certification in a pharmacy specialty
- Experience in hospital pharmacy practice
- Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) programs
- Immunization certification
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Reviewing medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Monitoring patient medication therapy for effectiveness and adverse effects
- Providing drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy plans
Skills:
As a Pharmacist at CRH, you will utilize your skills in pharmacoeconomics, medication therapy management, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, immunization, patient counseling, and manual dexterity on a daily basis. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in providing optimal pharmaceutical care.
