As a Production Technician Team Lead, you’ll work closely with the Production Supervisor to lead and support Packaging Technicians, coordinate daily production priorities, maintain product flow, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with cGMP requirements.

What You’ll Do- Provide day-to-day direction and support to Packaging Technicians based on production priorities.
- Monitor daily production requirements and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate staffing across packaging lines to maintain efficient product flow and maximize daily production.
- Assist with label checking, verification, and finished-product processes.
- Identify attendance, performance, or employee concerns and communicate them to the Supervisor.
- Assist with coaching and progressive discipline conversations as directed by the Supervisor.
- Train and cross-train employees while helping new team members successfully learn their roles.
- Ensure employees follow established SOPs, safety requirements, and cGMP standards.
- Occasionally operate production equipment to help the department meet daily production goals.
- Monitor supplies and ensure the work area has the materials needed to maintain production.
- Support OSHA and workplace safety requirements and promptly communicate workplace incidents.
- Provide the Supervisor with production updates, employee performance information, and other information important to the department’s success.
- Help create a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical packaging, pharmacy operations, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated environment preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based computer systems.
- Familiarity with mechanical packaging or production equipment preferred.
