Internship Description: Build and optimize financial and accounting workflows on ERPNext, replacing fragmented Airtable/spreadsheet systems with robust automated processes. Implement multi-entity financial consolidation across Kamioun group companies, automate investor reporting, and establish standardized financial controls and data flows.
What will you do:
Implement accounting workflows on ERPNext: Design and configure modules for accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, payment reconciliation, and financial controls
Build multi-entity consolidation: Create automated financial consolidation across Kamioun Distribution, Kriga Technologie, and Kamioun SAS entities within ERPNext
Automate investor reporting: Migrate quarterly investor reports from Airtable to ERPNext; automate extraction of GMV, revenue, order volume, operational KPIs, and ESG metrics (fuel efficiency, CO₂ emissions, fleet data)
Integrate data sources: Connect ERPNext with operations, warehouse, and finance teams' systems to ensure seamless data flow and eliminate manual data entry
Standardize financial processes: Document and implement SOPs for monthly/quarterly closing, reconciliation procedures, and financial reporting cycles
Build reporting infrastructure: Develop automated financial dashboards, cash flow tracking, P&L statements, and budget variance reports within ERPNext
Ensure data accuracy: Work cross-functionally to validate financial data, identify reconciliation gaps, and maintain data integrity across systems
Technical skills: Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, ERPNext/Frappe framework (or strong willingness to learn), proficient in Python and SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with financial data modeling and process automation is a plus.
Soft skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical mindset, systematic thinker comfortable with financial complexity, ability to work autonomously, strong documentation skills, confidentiality-conscious when handling financial data.
